Cambridge United stormed to the top of the Blue Square Premier last night after thumping recently promoted Celtic by five goals to one. Journeyman Leo Fortune-West helped himself to a hat-trick as Farsley found themselves 3-0 down after half an hour. Former Chelsea player Rob Wolleaston opened the scoring after 2 minutes, as he scored from the edge of the box. Wolleston was involved again for the second goal, as his corner was met by Fortune-West. Darren Quinton set Fortune-West up for his second just before the half hour, and the visitors went in at half-time three goals down.
The second half started with a glimmer of hope for Celtic as Gareth Grant pulled a goal back for the visitors. But as the game drew on, they couldn't find a way through. United's quality eventually showed through as Fortune-West grabbed his hat-trick before Mark Albrighton wrapped up the scoring in the last minute.
